Steering gear change out

Can someone tell me how to center my steering wheel after changing out the steering gear. It seem to be about a 1/4 turn off on the shaft. My steering wheel is up side down now. I tried to change the position of the pitman arm and still it is wrong. I centered the steering wheel and the tires but then the steering shaft won' line up. Thanks. :exp:

it's really complicated and its a biitch to line up, but just keep messing with the wheel itself, i wouldn't even mess with the pitman arm

The only way to straighten everything back up is with a wheel alignment. Just make sure that the pitman arm is on the gearbox in the correct position.
