Now I am wise enough to know that *Parts Aint Parts* when it comes to a 4WD steering system...so here is why I am asking...

My Mechanic, who is really good for basic stuff, said the drag link was bent...along with the tie rod end. Now, I took Shady in for an estimate and the respectable Alignment shop, said Inner Tie Rod end and connecting rod were bent.

So, are the Inner Tie Rod End/Connecting Rod the same thing as a Drag Link?

I have only found a couple of part sites that sell Drag Links...which is why my concern when I get ready to order/buy parts, I want to be sure I am getting all the parts needed.

Sorry to be such a pest!

...off the top of my head i forget the other name for the drag link...it is the one that connects to the pitman arm...the other parts connect off of it...the whole setup for the steering linkage is about 100 bucks new...;)

...i found this in my tech pics....i think this might help...;)

I would go with Moog parts. Cold forged tie ends = stronger part vs. cheap hot forged ends.
