Since new, my '99 Lmtd. has "wandered" down the road making it difficult to keep in a straight line. Other cars/trucks in front are tracking fine, mine not. I've been to the Ford dealer 4 times, they say there's nothing wrong and "they all do that". I've rotated tires and checked pressures, no difference. Every time I took it in, their readings were different from the previous ones, again they say normal. I wrote to the President of Ford with all the facts, no response. Anyone else having these problems with their stock '99 limited?

I have a 99 Limited and have had no problems with wandering.

The only thing I can say is that when you have bigger tires that they will tend to climb up on the "ruts" left on heavily traveled roads. If you look at some roads the lanes have uneven pavement. They have a groove where everyones tires ride. Your 255/70/16 tires are bigger than most so it wants to climb out as the sidewalls touch the walls of the grooves.

Hope that helps...

side note: I replaced my stock shocks with the Edelbrock ISA shocks. It improved my ride and handeling by 100% or more.
