Steering Wheel Control Lights Out

The cruise control lights in my steering wheel are out on my 2000 explorer. Is it a burnt out fuse or is it a bulb? Also, if anyone could tell me what the fuse or bulb is to be replaced that would be sweet thanks.

Most Likely the Bulbs. Ford sells the entire switch assy as a replacement $65.00. However you can carefully lift the rubber switch covering at the outside edges and then twist the bulb holder out. Put in the following bulb and carefully push the cover back on.

its from a ford contour,and fits perfectly, the bulb is slightly longer
but in no way hinders operation.
