OK, quick question Explorer gurus...
I have a 1998 EB Sploder with 5.0 and 130,000 miles...
I didn't want to fire up the rig to move it the other day, so I turned on the key and put it in neutral to move it.
I had to turn the wheel hard to the right to back it up, then straightened it up and coasted to where I wanted to go...
I noticed on the way back to work that I have a "shimmy" in the steering wheel now... I can be going down the road and let go of the wheel and it has a back and forth shimmy- it really gets bad on uneven surfaces and seesaws pretty bad...
ANY IDEAS???
In the "Search" feature, I found a few posts, and one said that a shimmy was fixed with a new P.S. Pump... of course I hope that's not it, but it would be cheaper than a steering rack!
THANKS- I welcome any and all ideas...
