Stereo "CRACKLE" driving me nuts!!

After covering all of the basics, I cant figure out how to fix my factory stereo system. Hopefully that's where you nice people may play a factor. My stereo unit has been replaced once due to a crackle noise, but the new stereo (also factory) is doing the same thing. To get a temporariy break of my insane fits I beat the heck out of the dash board, or I find that gently pushing the face plate of the stereo unit will quite it until the nest bump in the road. I do not know where the ground is on these things. I have stumped the dealer with this. I have checked all of the speaker connections and stress points for cracked insulation, but still nothing but noise. I do not think this is a unique problem, afterall it is virgin factory stuff that has not been tampered. Anyone with a 1994 or experience with this delemma is urged to contact me......Please!:fire:

I replied the post in the other thread, but like I said in there, you need to solder your speaker wires to your head unit. I can tell that you haven't because I had the same problem, and when I soldered them it got rid of it. I too have a 94 X.
