Actually you don't need to cut the wire. The shift motor connector can be disassembled so you can remove any the wires without the need to cut them. You need a pic, small screwdriver or other such tool to remove the inner red lock ring inside the connector. Once removed you can free the wire from the connector.TAZZOUT said:: ...If you buy a new or used shift motor I guess you will need to cut that small wire and splice the new one on in order to replace your old one.
