I will also add they still have a few issues coming off the line. The trim on my rear D Pillar doesn't fit 100% correct(very small gap) and for some reason the last clip for my front bumper(that holds the panel flush to the front fender underneath the headlamp) likes to pop out. I plan to take it back in to the dealer in a few days to ask them to fix the bumper, its 100% not acceptable to have a clip continue to pop out. The D Pillar thing is so small and minor I don't care and takes a very trained eye to find.

The 2/24 build week must have been the magic bullet, even though I understand some did get delivered. I ordered 1/14, 2/24 build, original ETA 3/5, then 3/15, and today it is still 3/15. Is anyone still on hold that has an earlier build date?

I'd wager it is on it's way. My 2/16 build arrived last week. I am a half day drive from Chicago.

What kind specs and options did you have? I'm wondering if Limited 302 spec has anything to do with it.

Maybe that's the common denominator. Mine is a Limited with the 302a spec. Built 3/7 and has missed two shipping ETAs so far. Only other option was crossbars.

Hey, this could be as simple as a shortage of 20" wheels. Who knows. Ford isn't talking. But they don't want bad press with problems with an all new X either. It's an all new vehicle! Mine was a AWD, 202, tow, single cd, leather, 20" wheels and Blind spot.?? I am optimistic.

Interesting. Mine was built on 2/10 and I purchased it from the dealers lot (not ordered by me...ordered by someone else and then order cancelled) on 3/11. I think they had just received it that day.

I never did get a reply to this. I still have absolutely no idea where my vehicle is. You did reply to some other concerns and I appreciate that. However, my requests for updated vehicle information has gone on deaf ear. I understand that there are lots of people asking the same questions, so it may be difficult to keep track of. My dealer did call me yesterday and told me he actually talked to the hauler and he has it on his truck. We MIGHT see it show up today or tomorrow. We will see.

I hope we see ours soon then.... We had the same build date and were expecting it on 03/07, well that came and went without a peep from the dealer. Now were calling our dealer to try and get updates and no one returns our calls, frustrating.

^ this is why I wish could purchase cars directly from the manufacturer instead of the dealer. Dealers are only good for warrenty service.. if that.

Wish we had factory pickup like you can do with vettes & BMWs!

Yea, us too. My sales guy (who I have known for about 10 years and bought many cars from) said that the ford rep (I'm the guy that won the facebook sweepstakes so there is a rep working with my dealer) said this:

We had 2 more stop ships this week. His vehicle has been inspected/repaired as of today, and is awaiting shipment, along with 8000 others. Likely to ship next week, barring any further stop ships.

BTW, I ordered in late Jan, build of 2/7 with original ETA of 2/14

I ordered my wife one the first week of Sept. and am still waiting. (I did get an call from the dealer today and he said that it was on hold for a strut problem) My wifes losing patience and wants to just wait for the 12's or just go with another manufacturer. Thats hard for me coming from a ford family but an unhappy wife makes me unhappy by default.

Your issue is unacceptable and should not be tolerated but I see others who continue to order knowing there maybe quality issues that will delay shipment. As queen said "I want it all and I want it now." If they ship it when everyone wants it then the board will be lit up with quality complaints. This a new model and sh*t happens.

I have not even ordered mine as of yet. I would like it prior to my cross country drive in August, who knows... I really do hope everyone gets their vehicles soon and then may be I will have a chance to get mine with great quality and in a timely fashion

There is no way that your order can even have been submitted. Look at the dates for the others. Orders placed are being delivered within about three months. If your data is right, you have been waiting for over 6 months. There must be an issue with your order.
