OK I have a 95 explorer with 120K on it. It still keeps wanting to die when I start it only sometimes. I replaced the idle air control, egr valve, egr valve position sensor. The spark plug wires and plugs looks fairly new. And sometimes when im using my cruise control it jerks back and forth. But Im getting around 300 miles per tank? Does anything think its the MAF sensor? Or the TPS sensor??

Check for vacuum leaks. Make sure all the lines aren't cracked/loose, and that none of the caps on unused ports are missing or cracked on the "octopus".

Try cleaning the injectors. They could be dirty, my 1994 did something like that before.

It's also known as the vacuum tree. All vacuum lines originate there.
