So this is my second 'Sploder. Picked it up at an auction for what I thought was a cheap price. But then the O/D OFF light started flashing at me. The tranny shop only got 3 grand canadian out of me but it's pretty much new from the rear engine seal to the front u joint now. Oh, plus new rubber. Nokian Vativa 235/75 R 15s. good enough for winter and until I start lifting and such. I just looks too girlie with a stock stance. Anyhow, here's a couple pics plus some shots of why I had to by a second one.

Glad you made it out of the first Explorer! Do you have any other plans besides lifting it?

Work for me
strange....I was using a mac before and there were 4(i think) boxes with question mrks in them now on my windows there is nothing.

Thanks for your concern dmb. The Wife, Kids and the dog were Quite glad to come out of it unscathed as well. I'll probably be paying for therapy someday though. As for plans, 2" lift and tires to start, Cold air/MAS/Throttle body, Bush Guard and Lights. Nothing too radical 'cause it's still my daily driver. I'm gonna try the tt and add a leaf route first just to see how bad the ride gets. It already seems rougher than the '91 but I suspect it was rode hard and put away wet before i got it.
