I got this right now, just had my lift finished today, and I'm still running 3.73's it's not as bad as I thought it would be at all. But I could see it being a wee bit of a problem for offroading though.
im not running 35s... but have a 3.73 and the slight increase of power consumption i noticed when going to 31s will be amplified a lot more with those 35s....
Depends on what you have stock. Explorers can have stock gears anywhere from 3.08 to 4.10. 4.10 with 35s isn't totally bad, but anything higher (numerically lower) and you'd have power and mpg issues.
