I have a '91 Eddie Bauer, 4 door 4x4. its lifted about 6in n I have 33" TSL's. does anyone know what the stock gears are in that truck? and what would be a good gear to change it to so that it runs better, but without totally killing my gas milage cause its already at about 13.5, on a good tank.

You need to look on the sticker on the inside door jam. That will have a code under "axle" take that code, then do a search on "axle codes" here. You will find a chart that will tell you what your code means.
If you can't find the sticker, the code is stamped onto a metal tag on the rear end diff cover.

See this (for codes):

If the door sticker is missing......(Chevy does it) take your VIN# to the FORD Dealership and ask them to find the "build codes" using the VIN#. Though, sometimes they say the "car is too old."

Aloha, Mark
