Stock Sirius antenna

Hello everyone,

i am going to change out the radio in my 2008 ford sport trac. It is the base setup with no subwoofer or Sync but does have Sirius radio. I will also be adding Sirius radio and wanted to know if it is possible to use the stock Sirius antenna with the Sirius adapter? Has anyone attempted this?

I haven't tried it but it seems reasonable. I'd at least try it first and see what happens.

I did, with a special adapter cable. I can't remember the type or part number (been a while), but I found it with Google by looking up the connector types. Sorry for lack of specifics, but it is possible.
