OK, here's the deal. I've been having this problem for a few years, and now it's getting much worse, and driving me up the wall. basically, my 4 stock speakers cut in and out when I hit potholes - or at this point, even bumps in the road. Sometimes one will go fully out, sometimes just sound weaker. It's all 4 speakers that are the problem, so I assume it's a wiring issue and not 4 seperate bad speakers. If I hit more potholes or bumps and they were out, they might come back for me, but I usually get them to all come back by cranking up the volume really loud, and they all pop back to life. It's annoying as all hell, because it's getting worse, and they're hardly all working at the same time anymore. I really wanna open it up and try to find out what the deal is, but I'm clueless with this stuff. Has anyone heard of this happening? Any ideas what it could be? if you guys could point me in the right direction, that'd be great.

Thanks in advance...

try the connector on the back of the radio... probably loose.

Sounds like the wiring. Check the connectors at the back of the radio like budwich said. Also check the factory amp in the rear of the vehicle. It should be behind the passenger side rear panel. Start with those. If you have an electrical tester and know how to use it that will be your best bet to find the problem.

Alittle info on your system might help too.

or by the picture in your avatar you have some serious flooding issues ;)

j/k the connectors on the back of the speakers would be my first guess. (it looks hard to take the door panel off but it takes about 10-15 min to fully disassemble it)

Good luck
