Stolen Keys / Door Lock Replacement

Yes, I have disabled the door cylinder.
I guess this is mostly for others that may find themselves in a similar situation, but a new lock cylinder with keys is ~$65 delivered. Stranger things have happened, but with a disabled lock cylinder, how would one get in their vehicle if the battery died or there was some other electrical issue that prevented entry with the fob/keypad?

As far as the glove box lock, does anyone actually lock anything of value in them? They are about as secure as a plastic toolbox with a padlock... Anyway, you can get a keyed alike glove box cylinder for ~$30. So, not including the fob, it is less than $100 to rekey if you DIY.
