After removing a few items on my explorer, it looks like I have a small head gasket leak on the front drivers side area. No water in oil/exhaust and the vehicle runs fine. I am checking to see if there are any recommendations/success with some of the stop leak additive products.

Do yourself a favor and just replace it. If it's leaking and you fix it temp, chances are you will have another leak. Fix it right the first time and you will never have that issue again. "atleased on that side". I don't add anything to my motor. 133 and going strong.

ground black pepper, can get you by until you can fix, and it wont cause permanent damage
BG makes a great cooling system sealer and treatment also.....

Motor oil and coolant are the only two liquids that should ever be put into your engine.

Stop leak, seal swell ect, just band-aid items that do more harm then good.

I have been reading good things about K&W Block sealer

Anyone with any experience with this? From what I have read it might do the trick. The leak is small and after utilizing this product you drain it out and replace with coolant. Is it worth a shot.
