Can and should are 2 different things. You can, but you shouldnt. Run 75w140 like Ford specs

Maybe, I just assumed this was a 2nd Gen lol 75w140 is still a good idea. Diff oil doesn't need changing often, I don't see any reason to go cheap there.

Use Hypoid Gear Lubricant XY-90-QL (ESP-M2C154-A) lubricant or equivalent.
Add 4 U.S. ounces of Additive Friction Modifier C8AZ-19B546-A, (EST-M2C118-A) or equivalent.
