So my 4wd has been acting up and just getting worse as time goes along. It all started over the winter, I couldn't get it to go into 4wd when it was cold. Once it warmed up everything was fine.
Now I've got nothing. No lights no 4x4. When I try to get it into 4wd I get 1 single click from the module in the back and nothing more. I hold the button and nothing. Only 1 single click. So I'm thinking that it is the push button 4x4 switch. I've browsed the Shift Motor Rebuild and it just doesn't seem to be my issue, plus I don't have to tools or time to do that.
Anybody have any ideas??? How hard is it to replace the switch??? Does Ford still make that switch?? Or is it going to be a junkyard find??
