How's this for wierd? It's not the bearing, just crud in the seal. I had a feeling it wasn't bad. Scratched 95 was dead on.
The funny part is that my dad's Montero that I was using while the X was in the shop actually did blow the pinion shaft seal/bearing. It grinds and houls like a bad bearing too. It has 90k so I can see it happening.
Maybe I should stop driving all together, this could get costly!!Dead Link Removed
