Here's another one for you guys. Everything falls right when I'm about to install my 2" suspension lift. I just tried to take off one of the front shocks and came out with a broken bolt. I used my braker bar on this baby and stripped it right off. What now? any sugestions? cut and drill and replace with another bolt? replace the whole thing? what?

Thanks,

Go ahead and finish the install. You can get a kit to fix the broken lower shock mount. It is kinda a bolt type thing that goes through the radius arm.

When we broke our we broke it flush with the Raius Arm. I had it welded back on and it has been fine ever sine (over 60k miles)

where at? where do you think I can get a repair kit? I stripped mine right where the bolt is so the shock still goes on no problem.

I was thinking about drilling and tapping the existing stud and just securing the shock with another bolt but will sure listen to other opinions.

Later,
