stuck on defrost

i have a 1995 explorer sport that is stuck on defrost. i read through most of the blend door thread hoping to see a side note about my problem but i couldnt find anything. i have already replaced the switch in the dash, to no avail. no hissing from the vacuum lines. to be honest im not even sure which part controls this function. i dropped the glove box. where should i be looking? thanks in advance!

The dash switch that selects A/C, heat etc is the one with vacuum on it. If you don't have any there, then start following the lines out until you find the one that's disconnected/broken. One of the lines will head towards the engine, it's the one you want.
