Alright I'm stumped like anything. Truck overheated on the way back from Paragon Offroad Park on Sunday 6/5/05. Ran truck originally after getting home without a thermostat so I can get a new thermostat without worrying. Well truck started to run hot coming back, luckily I made it home. Decided after talking to other people that the fan clutch was probably bad. Power washed the area around the condensor & radiator very well and ran the truck some more with a new thermostat. Truck has yet to overheat. I drove the truck around town to operating temperature then drove home and let it idle. Truck ran for over 15 minutes with many times being in neutral revving the motor upto 3500-4000 RPM and truck did not overheat. The fan clutch is due to arrive this evening. Not sure if I need it or not.
