subs wont work

about a week ago my subs just stopped working they went off and on for about a week before that. Anybody know why this would happen?

I would check the ground. Alot of the time that has something to do with it. Also you may have pushed your amp too hard. Check the fuses in the amp as well as near your power source, but it really sounds like your ground came loose.

You did not tell us anything about your setup and how the equipment is set.

It is like me saying my car runs then it stopped...why??

List everything you have...model numbers...how everything is wired up...how the gain is set in relation to the source.

My guess is incorrect settings with the addition of low voltage equals clipping which leads to equipment failure.
