Subwoofer Box Question

All this talk reminds me why I switched to passive radiators many years ago. They do have inherent weaknesses, or I'll call them compromises, just like anything else in audio, though.

i kinda got burnt out on car audio a while ago. I've recently switched to DIY home theater :D

I'm just not starting to get into DIY Home Theater...I spend more time at home than driving around so I might as well try to make the sound system sound as best as it can

I'm guessing you to be early 20's, just wait 10 years. I like my home stuff far more than my car now.

I'm in college still...after i graduate as a mechanical engineer i'll have a bad ass ht system

I expected as such. You at Uni. of Evansville? Nice place. Just wait until you start on your home. You don't really change out parts like you do in your car- you just add more and more, or move that "system" to another room to justify a bigger, badder main theater. As long as I don't kill my CC's, the wife doesn't *****.

lol...well I want to get into tube amps and full range drivers after I graduate. I'm already researching some different full range designs
