A couple of weeks ago I came back from a buisness trip. My buddy had drove my truck while I was gone because his was sick. I noticed that my truck vibrated more than usual and I started loosing power. I decided to go to the junk yard and pick up some sensors and a FPR to see if that would fix the no power problem. I leave my neighborhood and get about half a mile away and pop tink tink tink and the truck just died. WTF!

Well after inspecting the underside of the truck I noticed the crank pulley had wabled off and the bolt sheered off inside the crankshaft. Got it back to my house and pulled the pulley all the way out. The sleve part of the pulley that fits over the shaft had a 1 inch crack in it. I had to drill and extract about 1 inch of the old bolt. Well I put it back together and all problems appear to be gone.

This is just FYI incase anybody has some unexpected vibrations. Check your crank pulley. Also, it was not apparent where the noise came from either. I could have had a catastrophic failure causing a lot of damage to the front of the engine. I was lucky.
