Has anyone out there tried out the summit racing lights? They look pretty cool, but I dunno if they are reliable. 4 -100watt lamps for $129.99. Come with everything you need to install. Sounds like a good deal to me. They look very similar to the KC dayliters;)

My guess is they're probably Pro Comp lights that Summit just puts their name on. But they sound like a good deal. If you're worried about buying them, you can just buy the Pro Comp ones for roughly the same money and have a brand that you know and can trust. I have pro comp's on my truck and they're great. I also have KC's and they're great but in retrospect, they were overpriced. To some extent, a light is a light. Just don't buy Wally World lights and expect quality

I have a set of the Summit 100W lights on my Samurai and they are great! Not quite as good as my KC's, but still good, reliable lights.

Hokie, I'll disagree with you on the KC lights being overpriced. Part of what you are paying for is the 23 year UNLIMITED warranty. The warranty covers filament/bulb burnout, switch failure, relay failure, lens cracking, housing rust, and even cover damage! I have used that warranty on a couple of occasions (I own several sets of KC lights), and, IMHO, they are well worth the money. The only reason I don't have KC's on my Sammy is that the Summit lights were a gift. :D
