Sunroof only moves a little at a time?

Need a little help, the factory sunroof in my 99 Mounty only moves about an inch or two at a time. It just started this in the last few days. If you push the button it does not go all the way back and forth without repeatedly pushing the button. Any ideas???

Open it all the way, and clean the tracks well and relube. I’d use some white lithium on a rag and wipe it on sparingly.

Okay Mbrooks420. Will do once the temp rises to zero F or greater. Suspect you are correct! I might try a shot of Super Lube Synthetic Lube for starters. M

Agree on lubing it but I would clean out the old grease and use silicone grease instead (dielectric grease, etc), which given the timing of this problem, doesn't thicken nearly as much in cold weather (which may be the problem in the first place along with its age).
