I have 97 xlt 5.0, not that it matters to this question, but what is a torsion twist in reference to a lift. Is it literally turning the bolts to lift the front end that are connected to the torsion bars? Excuse my ignorance and I apreciate any answers.

Just remember if you do the TT don't go over 2" if you are 4x4, and you will need to get an alignment.
