1999 Explorer XLT
Hello all! New to this board and noticed alot of info going around. I'm sure this has been asked before...what size fog light bulb are people going with safely on the explorers...I have 99 XLT and the bulb size in the manual is 899. Most of the local vendors in the area don't know what 899 is. One said he had an 880. I have read that H1 is ok. I have no idea which one to go with and I don't want to fry the electrical system. The high/low beam are easy to get (9007). Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

u have the h1... u can try to convert 9005 headlights into their,, but for hassle free switching.. use the h1 bulb..piaa has good ones.. dont use xenons cus they will probalby fry ur wiring

Thanks! I had read somewhere that H1 would work...
