its the same engine block as a mustang GT so u should be in luck... my suggestion (if ur willing to spend the money) is a kenne bell charger... go to streetfire.net and search kenne bell cobra... see how fast they are.. its rediculous

i mean i would at least call a manufacturer to see if it really would work but its the same engine block so that should be a match

the Kenne Bell kit can be made fit- but I am pretty sure he said he had to modify a few minor things...

I would suggest just keeping it simple and going with the Allen kit. You can go with a custom Kenne Bell setup like I did but it isn't exactly a walk in the park. The Kenne Bell will only be worth it if you plan to try to go for 400+ hp at the rear wheels. Not many people do that in their Explorers. You will be able to make around 340rwhp with the Allen kit which is still fairly respectable.

You will need a tune along with other supporting mods such as a new MAS and a larger set of injectors too. The Allen kit comes with all of that where as with the Kenne Bell, being that it is custom, you will be on your own.

Good luck, it gets expensive quick. :D

I was waiting on you to chime in before I got into details on the KB. I agree, the Allen is the best choice for most. And our friend in Mexico is making good power with his.

Our friend in Mexico is no longer our friend in Mexico. Alex is in California now. He also has just a few more mods than that Allen that are helping in the power department.
