So how much did this run you all together thus far?

running total is about $2000 but remember I snagged this off of someone else on ebay. I still need to spend at least another $1000 for Maf, Injectors, and Dyno tune. plus if you count the Diable Maf.ia and new exhaust setup... an extra $200 (ish)

im putting on my wish list... hurst short throw shifter.

Please ignore my ignorance here cuss I know nothing about a 'short throw' shifter. I'm assuming this is for a manual trans?

yea its a 5speed tranny. the throw from gear to gear is reduced with the new shifter.

With the kit I purchased there is a ... nylon...? block that it mounts on just behind the throttle body and before the piping that runs into the back of the s/c. That and I had to extend the wires for the pcv valve. that was one of the easier parts to install.

you lost me there. accelerating? building up boost? It only builds boost when under load. so I cant just sit there and rev it and build boost.

sounds pretty much the same as a n/a 4.0 with a slight whistle at first but thats the bypass opening up.

so what did you do with your setup before selling it? I skipped alot of the posts about maf's and didnt see anything new.

which maf, injectors, pump?

Joe probably won't look at this so I'll answer for him. He had 24# injectors, Stock MAF with a Diablosport Mafia on it and the stock pump.
