Well, I am going on 6 months now with the Powerdyne installed, with a Gibson cat back added a few months ago.
Now I am working with Doug at Bamachips.
I ordered a X-Calibrator from him to remove the speed limiter, firm up the shifts, and allow me to stay in 3rd longer before a forced shift to OD.
...this has found a "flaw" in the system, it appears that the MAF is maxing out between 4200 and 4500 rpm. I was wondering why after the new program I was not able to go over 100mph in 3rd, and the truck fell flat on her face under WOT above that RPM.
Next up a new MAF and a remapped program, then maybe bumping up the timing a bit to squeeze a few more HP.
I do want to give Doug a round of applause; he went above and beyond to get my X-Calibrator up and running after an initial failure. He's a great person to work with and I am glad he is in charge of my OBD-II programs!!!!
