superlift 5.5" kit

Well it looks like I'm gonna be helping BadAsh install the kit when it gets here in a few weeks. And I'm just curious to what all comes in the kit with regards to the rear end, whether lift blocks, new springs etc...

well when you order you get to decide whether you want add-a-leafs and or blocks, or a new leaf pack. So what it comes with depends on what badash ordered

it was meaning spring over, with blocks..... otherwise theres no way of getting 5.5"'s

From what ive heard so far in this thread its all wrong. You dont get a choice of AAL's, lift leafs, or blocks. You get a spring over axle kit, IMO is crap, but i used it anyways. All it does is relocated your axle under your leafs. SImple, can be done in 2hrs with a jack and some jacstands and sockets. No new hardware is needed other than what the kit contains. Same shocks, brakelines, ect. Have fun. The 4" kit has lift leafs, but no SOA kit. The 5.5 from superlift only comes with the SOA kit, you can do the other things mentioned but you'll have to go somewhere else. And an SOA will give you 5.5" of lift, if not more if your spring are in good shape.

oh my bad i thought that since the ranger kit came with it the the explorer would too.

nope, explorer and ranger rears are different, rangers are already SOA, ex's are not.
