Oh forgot to mention I've already tried calling them they wouldn't tell me the length.

Just put mine on I will let you know give me a few days. PM me so I rember. Scott

ok cool, cause i think if the measurement is right all i need to get is a Ranger front shaft model year 93-97 before the torsion bars were used. they're like half the price of the superlift price.

Hey I was wondering if that 93-97 ranger front shaft worked for you?

Yes it did sorry for the late reply.

Checking RockAuto and Cardone's website, the picture they show for a 96 ranger 4wd front driveshaft has the double cardan and slip yoke. Can you confirm this please? I just wanna make sure, since it's about $150 cheaper to just get the Cardone reman unit.

or get one from a junkyard for cheap,
i have the stock 96 dc slip yoke one on mine, it's been on there a long time

well that's all the Superlift shaft is a over priced ranger shaft. the only reason it has the slip yoke is to compensate for the dropped front diff, and the double cardan joint helps with the angle which is what real kills the CV joint in the stock drive shaft. only big difference is that superlifts shaft has a flat flange rather then the old traditional flange that the older ranger and just like the jeep uses when you do the slip to fixed yoke conversion.
