since I've had my lift on it is hard as hell to keep it aligned, my question is , besides going with the solid axle, would the superrunner steering and radius arms help this prob, right now I need to buy two new tires and need any info on how you guys with lifts stop the problems, thanks in advance, mike

Best thing to do is give up alittle compression on the suspention and set up some good Bump-Stops. It's usually sagging springs that mess up the alignment. Yes, SRS does held the handling, eventhough, the Explorers normally handle like an "Elephant on roller skates". He He!:redexp:

The radius arms won't help with the alignment unless the caster is messed up from not using the supplied radius arm drop brackets (soemhow I don't think that is the problem).

I hope you are running aftermarket alignment cams. If not, start there. Make sure your ball joints are all good and your wheelbearings are packed and spindle nuts tightened to specs. Check your steering links while you are under there too.

How are the tires wearing?

If it is strictly on the inside or outside of the tire it is the camber which means the coil is too tall or too short.

If it's scrubbing (some high and low spots) the outside or inside of the tire then your toe is not set properly. That could result from bad tie rod ends.

So start with that and see where you get.

Thanks cory, I just put the 133 springs on a few months ago and just had the alignment and camber done about five weeks ago, just in the last couple of weeks the tires are starting to wear on the inside and you can see by standing in front the camber is off, the tops of the tire are inward so will get them adjusted again, just pisses me off since I had to put the 133's in cause the 118 springs were sagging, oh well thanks for the info guys, mike
