Thinking about possibly doing something with the suspension of my '01 sport.

What would the differences be between these two options, in terms of ride quality, price, lift, etc?

1) Leaf pack from a 4 door
2) Add a leaf on my stock leaf

I don't do any off-roading, and I commute a good distance in the sport every day, so I need a livable, somewhat comfortable ride.

Thanks!!

ok, been lookin thru some old posts... seems like a lot of ppl feel that the 4-door leaf pack is a great idea.

how would my ride change if i made the switch to 4-door leaf packs? would it be rougher than stock?

will there even be a difference? it seems that the 2001 sports have multi leaves, while the older sports have mono...

edit:

I just went outside and measured, looks like my rear is definitely sagging at least an inch.. and the driver/passenger side are uneven as well...

Just a hair more ridigid of a ride.
Long since gotten used to it.

its weird. here at work, we have a bunch of explorer sports as company vehicles. i hate it, cuz they all seem to ride smoother than mine!!! i tried changing the shocks, which helped for like 2 weeks, then it was back to the bouncy-bounce

The newer Sports like yours already have a multi leaf pack that was only found in 4 doors in earlier models. You might try the AAL.
