Alright, I've got a 2001 4.0 Sport, lowered 3 inches, I need to replace the shocks though to accommodate the drop because my rear shocks are load leveling coil overs and are very freakin bouncy, even before i lowered the truck. Are there any parts from say a mustang or ranger that are interchangeable with little or no modification necessary that can work? Its so hard to find parts for this damn vehicle, but I love the challenge. I want to get the edelbrocks for it, but I want to shop around first and get advice. And can anyone tell me a good way to strengthen interior panels, because my lefy rear one shakes and I need advice on repairing a shaky seat, I hear it rock with every bump, its bolted tight to the floor

im kind of in the same position im lowering mine either 2 1/2 or 3 inches. its an 01 exploder sport. I
was told the edelbrocks were the best for the rear and to use another shock( i cant remember what one, il have to call my buddy who has done a lot of explorer builds) to use for the front. anyhow i cant find the right ones as of yet! been looking all day for them and for the front torsoin keys. i can try and find out the shock thing for ya but can you help me with the lowering part, any links or companies or part numbers would be awesome!

thanks, i know how to do it, but im having trouble finding the torsion keys for the front. and i thought you had them since you dropped it 3 inches.
Im not really sure i want to mess with loosening the torsion bars because of overall ride quality of changing adjustments.
im going for a sports car feel (well at least a little anyhow) and i want to reduce body roll and increase overall cornering as well as appearance.

thanx dude, been lookin for that

awesome! thanks a lot!
