Suspension

Is the front suspension on the 2002 4wd and the 2wd explorers the same. I'm removing the complete running gear on the explorer.(ie front diff and axles, transfer case tranny and engine) and I'm installing a carbed 347 stroker outta and a non electronic aod outta a 89 mustang.the SUV will not be a daily driver so the carb won't be a issue. Just wondering about the front suspension

Is the front suspension on the 2002 4wd and the 2wd explorers the same.

Pretty much the only difference purely suspension-wise would be splined wheel-hubs for the CV axles, CV axles themselves, and obviously the front differential (on 4WD models).

That's all I can think of.
