Does anyone have info on the Truxxx suspension lift for the explorer?I am not familiar with it just wondering if anyone else had installed one .

After searching for the kit you speak of, it appears it's only torsion bar keys.. which would only affect the front. You can acomplish this front lift without buying anything by turning your torsion bar adjusting bolts, although you will need an alignment afterward. Search for "Torsion twist" on this website. Even out the rear with AAL [add a leaf] or lift shackles [warrior shackles, part number :war153:]

You know, I don't think I have ever found a solid, clear explanation of why a torsion keys are no better than a torsion twist.

It's because they do the same thing... the difference is when you do the TT.. you're putting more bolt into that adjuster pushing your stock key upward making the lift... and with the 'lift keys' the part that makes contact with the bolt is just thicker.. making the same result without really having to put more bolt in there..,. because of the added thickness of the key putting the bars at the same angle... get it? No matter which one you go with though, an alignment is needed.
