I have a 98 ranger does anyone know what sixe the stock front sway bar is cause i need bushings.

Sway bar diameters usually vary based on whether the truck is 4x2, 4x4, standard cab, super cab, 4 cyl, v6, etc.
Use an adjustable wrench on the flat part of the bar between the bushings to check the diameter, then lay the open jaws of the wrench on a ruler or tape measure to check the distance between the jaws, which should give you the diameter of that particular sway bar.
