I assume you are referring to front sway bar links?

Just pull one of yours and take it to an Auto Zone type place and match the size up to ones there.

Good luck ........

If your looking for aftermarket ones that are not behind the counter, you will have a hard time finding the right size. The ones for the explorer, the 4x4 2nd gens are really long stock. Almost 2-3 inches longer than the longest ones I could find. I believe most of the ones off the shelf are 3/8" and the replacements I got were 7/16". The "performance" links from autozone or pepboys are not going to be long enough. I ran into this problem when I was looking for a longer link. The stock replacements from Advance Auto use a bolt and sleeve, the bolt was about 12" long. HTH

Energy Suspension part # 4.5155G (98-00 Explorer Frt. s.b.b. Set) is what you need. I used the same kit on my '98, and it made a wolrd of difference.

thanks guy's! i know that they are long as hell. every one tells me that there out. i jjust didn't know what number kit to order.

r the longer ones better?

hmm might be something i need to do considering i have about 207,000 miles on the originals or atleast im assuming originals

I would be very surprised if they're original, the factory end links are very prone to early failure. Even if they have been replaced once, a new set could help stiffen things up a bit, check the bushings and see if they're worn out.

i only say that b/c the balljoint i had replaced last week looked very stock ford although could have been replaced with original OEM Ford balljoints in the past i do know the camber bolts were stock due to the phone call i got from the alignment shop after my balljoint replacement it was one of those " We have alittle problem here" lol. Everything suspension wise seems very stiff just alittle squicking with bumps
