Swaybar disconnects

I want to install some swaybar quick-disconnects on my X- but I have a slight saftey concern. Do I have to get extended brake lines to keep the suckers from tearing at full flex?? I have heard rumors of that being a possibility. If anyone has done this successfuly I would like to know. And if you could tell me what kind of pins you used and where you got them, that would be cool too.

The shocks will limit the travel long before the brake lines come into play.

Nope, I have them on my stock xplor and the brake lines would never max out with them disconnected. Dont worry about it unless you have a significant lift without new brake lines.
