So I have a 99' Ford Explorer lifted with the mods in sig....

To start off, I realize that doing an SOA will net you approx. 4-5" over stock...

I have done the Procomp AAL, and the Warrior shackles to lift the rear suspension...

People say that the AAL will settle and what not specially now that I am getting all my equipment for wheeling set up in the cargo area (E-track and straps, a rachet set, recovery, fire extigusher, want to get either OBA or Co2 soon the subs and amp also)... I am wanting to lift the rear more right now but not to much, don't want an extreme rake...

Some people say that with an AAL it is to stiff of a ride... The ride doesn't bother me....but when it comes to flexing I do think it is a bit to stiff

Does anybody have any expierance with switching from shackles and AAL to SOA? How did the height compare? I am thinking that If I did change to SOA and went back to the stock shackles (still have mine that were in good condition), dropped the AAL and the overload spring that that would net me a bit taller height and easier to flex... Or should I SOA drop the overload, AAL and maybe another leaf, and keep the warriors? I am looking for an overall lift that will be higher then the AAL and Warriors, and more flex would be kewl too....

Tell me if you have any expierance, or what you believe the best combo would be to aqquire what I am looking for....

Thank you
