I'm in the planning stages for a sound system for my Sport and I wanted to ask the experts some questions...first I'm not looking for a system to win trophies or shatter glass. I will be keeping my factory Cass./CD head unit. Don't want another one. I'm looking for maximum clarity and punch but will not part with my factory head unit. I recently installed Infinity Reference speakers in the factory holes and they sound really good but I need more power...My plans are to get a set of those kick panels that you can mount component speakers in. I also want one of those enclosures that fit in the back cubby hole on the right side. I plan to keep my speakers all Infinity. My main questions are: What type Infinity components should I put in the kick panels? What type sub can I put in the cubby hole? And lastly, what amps ahould I use for the sub and front speakers? I'm not willing to lose my cargo space for this stuff, but I will mount the amps to the back of the rear seats... Any info would be sweett....thanks a lot guys...

I used an Alpine amp for my stock head unit and aftermarket speakers. It sounded great too, just wasn't enough for competitions so I am doing the upgrade thing. I still have that alpine amp too if you need one. Let me know before I post it on E-Bay, it is a great amp.

By the way, I had it mounted under a seat. You couldn't even tell it was there.

Sport, I can only answer about the "cubby hole". I'm pretty sure you can't fit Infinity subs in the Q-logic Q-form or the MTX Thunderform. At least not a 10" Infinity, I believe the subs are to deep for the enclosure. Look at the specs for the Q-logic and/or the MTX and it will tell you the max depth sub you can use, and start there. The MTX can come preloaded with a MTX sub, with or without an amp as well. www.crutchfield.com has good specs and pics of both, but look around other places for better prices, like www.soundomain.com . Good luck man...
