T-case and transmission swap

I have a 2000 XLT 4.0 i want to put on a better t-case and transmission. What is the easiest route for this? I don't want to do a lot of fabrication, looking for the best bolt-on solution.

The 700R4 will work with an adapter from Advance adapters. You could also use a Borg Warner 1354 Manual transfer case. Of course you would probably need a new front & possibly a rear drive shaft if you do any of the two options listed above.
