I've had an ongoing project with my Sport trac. I've completely rebuit the engine and transmission at the same time and now working on putting both back in and get everything connected. I noticed on the transfer case and the top of the transmission there are vent ports and I don't know where they get connected to. I didn't take note of where the hoses are run to when ripping everything out, can anyone help with this?

There should be a vent line that runs up the spine of the transmission
Often it is metal and shaped like a u

I always vent the transfer case separately from the transmission because they use different types of fluids
I run the t case and front diff vents up high by the brake booster
The trans has its own vent usually it goes up to the top of the bell housing and then point back down in case your trans ever pukesmfluid

So hose gets attach then goes into thin air for both, Thank you
