Ok i tried searching this and found some info but still doesnt meet exactly what is going on. I locked my Tcase into 4 low to get out of a snow drift that I was almost high centered on. Now it wont shift back to 4 hi or auto. Also the overdrive off light is flashing. Can someone give me some advice also when i try to shift it out I dont hear the motor clicking to swap it back over. Thanks in Advance

bump cause i want to fix this problem

You do know that to switch it out of 4 lo, you need to be in neutral with your foot on the brake.

If so, then it may just be that the snow got a little moisture in where it wasn't supposed to be and made it stick, or the case got confused because the system saw wheelspin and the computer couldn't rectify what the sensors were reading compared to what it expected. I saw that happen in my 2001 Explorer when I was spinning the wheels in the snow. All I had to do was turn the truck off and re-start it and it re-set the system and all was fine.

yeah the wheels were definatley spinning lol and yes i know the way to properly disengauge my 4 low maybe your right it just needed to reset but it sure is a pita when i want it out this has happend to me twice now and i shut it off a few times in the process of trying to unlock it but it didnt do anything until it sat for awhile.

I had it happen multiple times with my '01. Cycling the ignition cleared it every time.

i think im going to get a manual t case cause this is just a pita some times lol I HATE ELECTRONICS
