Tail light bulb replacement

Ok, I have a really stupid question..

One of my co-workers had an alignment done on her sport trac. While it was there, she had a taillight bulb replaced for $30.

Since the truck isn't here right now, I can't look at it.. Can anyone let me know the basics of changing the tail light on the sport trac. She is willing to give it a try, assuming its easy ($30 for a bulb hurts)

I am assuming its not like our 06 mustang where you take interior panels off to get to the bulbs.

I'm hoping its more like the 1st Gen X where its just a couple phillips and then you are there..

it may be in the user manual

open tailgate
there are 3 rubber plugs (on each side)
take out plugs
remove screws behind plugs (torx?)
pull out taillight on the side the screws were on (hinges/pivots on the side)
take out bulb socket from taillight and change bulb

That got me pointed in the right direction...

Turns out the truck was here (I just couldn't see it from my office). I wandered out and sure enough there are just 2 8mm (or 10mm?) bolts holding them tail lights on.

Also, turns out, its a 2008 model.. I had no idea her truck was that new.

I'll bring a socket to work and show her how to change them. I can't believe the dealer charged $30 to change a bulb when the truck was already in for paid work. They must have used synthetic blinker fluid.

They probably charged her $10 for the bulb and $20 labor @ $80 an hour for 15 minutes to change it.
