tailer brake wiring

ok so i finally got a hitch on my explorer today and now i need to wire in a 7 way with brakes. and ive been heairng alot about how alot of the explorers from factory are already wired in for this. how theres a plug in that you us and just work off that. so is there a such thing that i can just plug and play basically or do i still need to go and wiring in a solinoid and all that stuff for it..it's a 1996 ford explorer limited. any help with be great so im not goin into wiring this blind.

That thread shows the basic info- you do not have any wiring from the factory except for the "four flat" connector. Depending on your needs, you'll have to run some wires.

ok that's what i thought..caus ei already got that connect but i need to uggrade.
