Tailgate stuck

Hello,
I had a little crash in the rear door and i need to replace that.

After the crash the door are stuck, how to open it?
The latch are hard and it will break if forced more.

Any way to open by inside? How to do it?


I´ve searched in the forum and found anything about my problem, sorry if its posted in the wrong section...

are you referring to the rear hatch ?

Removing the trim panel is going to be difficult. If you can pop the glass you might be able to get in there. Remove the pull down strap. Its either a Phillips screw or a 8mm bolt. There is a coupla push in clips on the front side of the latch. Pop those out.

Now the whole panel slides upward. once you are in there, you should be able to see the main linkage to open the lift gate.

Thanks Monmix!! Your tutorial worked perfectly and i opened the tail gate today!

One more question, to remove the tail gate i need to cut the water line(rear windshield washer) and the electrical wiring or it has connectors? If yes, where are the connectors?
